A best-in-class office building portfolio requires best-in-class staff, including top-of-the-line leasing and management teams. W&H is proud of what our teams have accomplished in the short time since the portfolio was born a little over three years ago. We now welcome several new staff members, who will play an integral role in our continued success: 250 West 57th Street Frank Milatta, a real estate industry veteran, has been appointed property manager of 250 West 57th Street. He previously served as a portfolio asset manager for Tower Realty Group, where he prepared and analyzed financial information to determine acquisition and selling opportunities. Prior to that, he was involved in the management of four million square feet of space for Insignia/ESG in New York City. Also new to 250 West 57th Street is lease administrator Elyse Goldstein. Ms. Goldstein has worked at several real estate firms, including Fisher Brothers Real Estate Development, Halstead Property, and Charles H. Greenthal Residential Sales. She replaces Evelyn Acevedo, who has been promoted to the position of senior lease administrator at 112 West 34th Street, another W&H property. We congratulate Ms. Acevedo, and wish her luck in her new role. 112 West 34th Street Other new additions to 112 West 34th Street are Theresa Morzello, Audrey Coe, and Theresa (Terry) Hillman– property manager, leasing manager, and tenant coordinator, respectively. Ms. Morzello previously served as vice president–property management at Emigrant Savings Bank. In this capacity, she managed the bank's 400,000-square-foot headquarters building and also oversaw maintenance, capital improvements, and service contract administration for 36 retail bank branches and multiple satellite office locations. Before joining Emigrant, she was the director of technical services at Genergy. Ms. Coe has several years' experience as a leasing manager, both at Rose Associates, Inc. and at Solow Management Corporation. She also worked for five years as an associate broker at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Prior to joining the staff at 112 West 34th Street, Terry Hillman worked at Green Stamp America, most recently as an accounts payable coordinator, and earlier as an office manager. 1333 Broadway Also new to the W&H family is Kevin Mahoney, building manager of 1333 Broadway. Mr. Mahoney has extensive experience in real estate. He spent the first ten years of his career with Tishman Speyer Properties. Before joining 1333 Broadway, he headed Mahoney Development, a development, construction and brokerage company that he founded and that specialized in singlefamily home development, construction and sales. Mr. Mahoney has a master's degree in real estate investment and development from New York University, and he is a past president of the NYU Real Estate Association. 1350 Broadway Diane Fields, formerly an assistant property manager at Newmark Knight Frank, has been promoted to building manager at 1350 Broadway (leased and managed by Newmark Knight Frank). In her previous position, she supervised more than 16 staff members at eight buildings totaling 638,000 square feet. 1400 Broadway 1400 Broadway welcomes Richard Barra and Nancy Fernandez, property manager and assistant leasing manager, respectively. Mr. Barra has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, including seven years as a real estate manager at CB Richard Ellis and three years as a property manager at Jones Lang LaSalle. Ms. Fernandez has worked at Cushman & Wakefield, the leasing and managing agent of 1400 Broadway, since 1992. Before she took on her current role, she served as senior financial accountant. In this capacity, she handled financial activities for 11 real estate properties. Empire State Building Lawrence Mannion, Joseph Maguire and Alex Chin, CPA have joined the staff of the Empire State Building as director of security, director of broadcasting, and controller, respectively. Mr. Mannion previously served as the New York Police Department's deputy chief and executive officer of its school safety division. In this position, he supervised more than 4,200 school safety officers and a task force of more than 200 police officers and their supervisors. Prior to joining the Empire State Building, Mr. Maguire served as chief engineer for WLTW-FM at Clear Channel Communications. He directed all broadcast and physical plant operations of the radio station, including maintenance, budgeting, operation and capital planning. Mr. Chin most recently served as controller at The Hampshire Companies, a $200 million fund with ten million square feet of mixed-use real estate and real estate-related investments. Before that, he served as property controller at Forest City Ratner Co./First New York Management. "The skills and experience of our new employees are truly outstanding," says Anthony E. Malkin, president of Wien & Malkin Supervisory Services, the asset manager for the W&H portfolio. "Now it's time to put them to work on behalf of our tenants, associates in the brokerage community, and new tenant prospects. We really look forward to having the opportunity to compete for business with these exciting assets, in this exciting market, and with these very promising new team members." |
