Harold Leventhal

W&H was saddened to learn that Harold Leventhal, founder of the Woody Guthrie Foundation and Archives and a long-time tenant of 250 West 57th Street, died in October. During his career as a folk music promoter, Mr. Leventhal represented such artists as Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Harry Belafonte, Johnny Cash, Arlo Guthrie, the Mamas and the Papas, Phil Ochs, the Weavers, and Neil Young.
