250 WEST 57TH STREET sits in the heart of an area in great transformation. All around the build-ing there is rapid change: the Time Warner Center, Random House's new headquarters, and Hearst Corporation's new home.

250 West 57th Street (a.k.a. the Fisk Building) con-tinues as a vital part of the media and entertain-ment industry, which has long been its focus and which is surrounding it with all these new develop-ments. The most recent addition to 250 West 57th's media and entertainment tenants is RZO, LLC, which provides business management, accounting and tour production services to musical artists.

The firm (whose clients include Sting, Shakira, U2, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and 30 other top entertainment names) moved into the building last summer. It now occupies 12,500 square feet on the 11th floor, and it is the building's largest tenant.

RZO was founded by Bill Zysblat and Joseph Rascoff, former co-workers who got their first entertainment experience at a major accounting firm that counted The Rolling Stones as a client. The firm has grown substantially since those early days!

While RZO offers all the services of a traditional accounting and business management firm, it is also one of the largest independent concert producers in the country. It also has a unit that specializes in ensur-ing that clients receive proper royalty and pub-lishing income. And its music publishing depart-ment focuses on placing its clients' music in films and commercials, and works with other artists looking to do cover ver-sions of original songs.

Mr. Zysblat says he first became familiar with 250 West 57th Street in the 1980s, when David Bowie (one of the firm's earliest clients) kept his management office there.

"I had many occasions to visit the building and always considered 57th Street where I wanted to be," he says. "Over the years, many clients have come to 250 West 57th because of its reputation for housing entertainment industry figures who are happy here."

Mr. Zysblat says he's seen many changes in the area since first establishing offices there and anticipates that its appeal will only increase.

"Even before Time Warner decided to build its new headquarters at Columbus Circle, 57th Street had been transformed into a hub for entertainment-related offices. The continuing development will only increase the value of any business here," he says.
