Anyone who has ever walked down a street in Midtown on a weekday knows just how pressed for time Manhattan's business executives are. W&H is well aware of these time constraints, and we try to make our services easily and quickly accessible to tenants. That's why many of these services are available through the Web.
Online pre-registration of visitors is one example. Tenants of 60 East 42nd Street, the Empire State Building and 112 West 34th Street simply go to the tenant resources section of their building Web site. There tenants can log in, enter a username and passcode, and type in the names of their visitors. Voila! The visitors are pre-registered and do not have to wait in lines for security clearance. All they have to do upon their arrival is show their ID at the concierge desk to obtain an access pass and quickly move through the security check process. Soon 3 Herald Square, The Herald Square Building and 1359 Broadway will also have this convenient service.
Do you have a question about your building's policies and procedures? All important building information is available in your Online Tenant Handbook. These handbooks also can be accessed through the Tenant Resources page of each building Web site. The electronic handbooks contain a wide range of information, covering operations, security, emergency procedures, building services, tenant amenities, the local neighborhood, policies and procedures, and staff contact information. Of course, you don't have to read the whole handbook to find what you need. Just type in a search term to go directly to the section with the appropriate information. Another Web-based service is our work order system. By visiting the Tenant Resources section of your building Web site, W&H tenants can order maintenance and cleaning services, create a traceable record of requests, obtain cost estimates and monitor work status online. No phone calls are needed. "One of our mottoes is "the success of your business is our business," notes Anthony E. Malkin of W&H. "The Web is part of that value proposition. By adding the speed and convenience of Web tools to our tenant services, we ensure that our tenants can focus solely on their own work. Building management will take care of the rest." We hope tenants will take advantage of W&H's many online services. Log on anytime! |
