Mr. Beissel has extensive experience with W&H, having spearheaded operations at both 250 West 57th Street and the International Toy Center, the former W&H complex sold in 2005. His affiliation with Wien & Malkin Supervisory Services, the asset manager for the W&H Properties® portfolio, spans 18 years, starting with his appointment to the operations staff of 1185 Avenue of the Americas. "It's been a long and positive relationship," says Mr. Beissel. "These are first-class operations with owners who truly value their properties, take pride in them, and invest in them. I am fortunate to work with such committed people." In his new position at The Lincoln Building, Mr. Beissel will supervise the overall operations, maintenance, leasing and capital improvements for the building. It's a big job, but Mr. Beissel thrives on the constant activity. "Every day is different from the day before, so I'm never bored," he notes. "There's always a new project to work on and new people to meet." Mr. Beissel is also enjoying the surrounding neighborhood. As he explains, "I like the variety of the shops and restaurants in the area, and the proximity to Grand Central and its transportation options is a huge plus." The owners and staff of The Lincoln Building are not surprised that Mr. Beissel has settled in so quickly, given his 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. "We're delighted to welcome Tom to the team," says James D. Kuhn, president of Newmark Knight Frank, the building's managing and leasing agent. "He has an impressive track record, and his hands-on approach is appreciated by tenants and employees alike." Tenants of The Lincoln Building who wish to contact Mr. Beissel can call him at 212-309-2921 or email him at tomb@thelincolnbuilding.com. |
