Leading swimwear companies continue to gravitate to 501 Seventh Avenue, where Warnaco recently expanded for the third time. After the company, which now occupies nearly 185,000 square feet, moved in two years ago, other industry leaders followed "suit." Today, the building's tenant roster includes several other swimwear companies, including Beach Patrol, Raj Manufacturing, and LSV Worldwide.

"We really have a great mix of tenants with a strong concentration of swimwear, intimates, and activewear," says Scott Pudalov, executive vice president of CB Richard Ellis, the building's leasing and managing agent. "Of course, 501 Seventh Avenue is not a single industry building; we have general office, couture, and not-for-profits as well ... a real modern mix for the Fashion District."
