W&M: Ms. Fisher, you recently negotiated a lease for the entire 42nd floor at One Grand Central Place on behalf of ABS, the global shipping classification society. This was the first space you showed to the tenant. Why was it at the top of your list?

RF: There are two reasons. First, One Grand Central Place is a great building with solid ownership in the heart of Midtown and with excellent access to transportation. Second, the space itself is a unique full floor with outstanding views.

W&M: What was ABS's reaction to the space on this visit?

RF: The existing installation was exactly what ABS had in mind. It also helped that ABS already was familiar with One Grand Central Place, since a few of its clients are also tenants, and they shared only positive feedback on the day-to-day tenant experience.

W&M: What were the leasing negotiations like?

RF: The leasing team was a pleasure to work with. I worked very closely with Ryan Kass, in particular, and was impressed with his professionalism and diligence.

W&M: You frequently show space in other W&H buildings. How would you characterize your experiences with W&H in general?

RF: As for the properties themselves, they provide exceptional leasing opportunities for my clients, especially now that such extensive upgrades are completed or underway. And as for ownership and ownership's representatives, I've always found them accommodating and flexible. They make it easy to do deals.
