On November 11, the Girl Scouts will return for their semi-annual Corporate Cookie Connection sale, during which boxes of cookies are sold to support educational and cultural programs for Girl Scouts in New York City. At past events, there has been outstanding participation from W&H tenants, and so we hope you will participate again. Also, no need to be a tenant to participate; if you're at or near one of our buildings on November 11, please stop by and take advantage of this fun opportunity to purchase Girl Scout cookies.

And remember, if you don't want to buy cookies for yourselves, you can always purchase "Gifts of Caring" boxes, which are sent to military personnel stationed abroad. W&H tenants can also contribute to the community by participating in our annual Toy Drive, to be held between November 30th and December 18th at all W&H properties. As in previous years, the Toy Drive is hosted in conjunction with the Robin Hood Foundation, which works to eradicate poverty by funding community-based programs. More than 1,800 toys were donated in the 2008 toy drive; we look forward to topping that total this year.
