Autumn is a busy season for W&H's community activities.

To begin with, in October, each W&H building will hold a blood drive sponsored by the New York Blood Center. For more than 40 years, the Center has provided our community with the highest quality transfusion products and services, as well as leading-edge research, technological and medical care innovation, and education in the field of transfusion medicine. That dedication and commitment continues today as the New York Blood Center provides life-saving blood products and clinical and transfusion services to close to 200 hospitals in New York and New Jersey each and every day. Dates will be announced shortly; watch for announcements from your building management, and please participate if you are able.

On November 12th, W&H buildings will host the semi-annual Girl Scouts Corporate Cookie Connection, the proceeds of which support educational and cultural programs for Girl Scouts in New York City. Non-cookie lovers and dieters have the option to purchase "Gifts of Caring" - boxes that are sent to military men and women on duty overseas. Again, please watch for announcements regarding this portfolio-wide event.

W&H thanks the many tenants and employees who participate in our blood drives, Girl Scout events, and the other community-oriented activities that we host throughout the year. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
