Busy executives have little time for such errands as buying newspapers, filling prescriptions, mailing packages, or depositing checks. That's why every W&H building offers extensive on-site amenities and services, as well as proximity to retailers.

The Lincoln Building, for example, has a lobby arcade on the ground floor with a conference center and law library, tailor, copy center, newsstand, a shoe repair shop and several stores. Also on the building's ground floor are a coffee shop, branches of Chase Bank and Bank of America, and the site of the soon-to-be-opened restaurant Pála, which will specialize in Mediterranean food. The myriad shops and restaurants of Grand Central, which are accessible via an underground passage, include the famed food hall, Posman Books, The Oyster Bar & Restaurant, The Campbell Apartment, Cipriani Dolci, Banana Republic, Kenneth Cole, Papyrus and Swatch; and that New York institution, Lord & Taylor, is a few blocks away.

501 Seventh Avenue and 1359 Broadway, both located in the center of the Herald Square district, also offer easy access to stores and services. Tenants can frequent a wide variety of local restaurants, including Keens Steakhouse, Nick & Stef's Steakhouse and Tupelo Grill; search the racks at Macy's (only a few blocks away), Banana Republic, Victoria's Secret, The Gap and Zara; or enjoy the green spaces at Herald and Greeley Squares. And the convenience of Penn Station and the Port Authority Bus Terminal is hard to beat.

On the ground floor of 501 Seventh is the recently opened Zaro's, along with a Hallmark store and a jewelry store. In addition, a FedEx Kinkos is across the street, and there are several banks within a block or two of the building. At 1359 Broadway, the ground floor retailers include a UPS Store, a Met Bank branch, and a newsstand.

Farther uptown is 250 West 57th Street, located in the Columbus Circle district. Tenants in this property enjoy not only the proximity of Central Park and the shops and restaurants of the Time Warner Center – which include the popular Whole Foods Market, Borders Books & Music, J. Crew, Sephora, Stuart Weitzman, Hugo Boss, and Williams Sonoma, along with the world class eateries Per Se and Masa – but they can also take advantage of a highly convenient Duane Reade on the ground floor of the building. They need not stray far to shop for clothes, since The Gap is another ground-floor tenant. Furthermore, banks abound on the surrounding blocks, and the 60th Street Post Office is only a few blocks away.

Location and Convenience

It's no accident that each W&H building is situated in a thriving, 24/7 neighborhood; location and convenience are among the key criteria of the portfolio. We also made sure to augment the neighborhood services with on-site amenities, so our tenants can spend a minimum of time on errands.
