Bennett Lawrence Management, LLC, an investment management firm, has leased the entire 43rd floor of The Lincoln Building. The 12,386-square-foot space will house the firm's headquarters, currently located at 757 Third Avenue.

The lease signing reflects two ongoing trends in the property – the move to full-floor tenancies throughout its tower floors and the increased attention it receives from prominent, brand-name tenants drawn by its comprehensive physical and management upgrades.

The building's general manager, Tom Beissel, has seen the market reaction to "ownership's investments and management's initiative to attract larger, creditworthy tenants to the building." This initiative, launched in 2003, comprises an $80 million capital improvement program, tenant and broker appreciation programs, and managerial responsiveness. These developments, he says, combined with its exceptionally convenient location across from – and with direct underground access to – Grand Central, have solidified the property's status as "a trophy pre-war building in midtown."

Other high-profile tenants in The Lincoln Building include EDO Corporation (NYSE: EDO), Sun Life Financial (NYSE: SLF), Bear Stearns (NYSE: BSC), The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Thai Airways International, and the tourism departments of the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
